When the pandemic slowed everything down in 2020, Ash retreated from her original graduation plan of a career in concept design, and started a focus on handmade illustrations and goods. She needed to make something with her hands as the days dragged on in quarantine, and through that, she learned how to wood-burn gifts and usable items for friends and family. When she decided to start posting her process videos online, her wood-burning illustrations went quickly viral, and it took off from there. Now she has added printmaking to her discipline, and works to make stationary, stickers, and woodcraft for those who appreciate slow made, hand-loved goods that focus on warmth and the love of what's already around us.
